Why did you name the company RedSky?
I love to travel and explore, and sometimes I am lucky enough to do it by boat. I often make a special effort to see a sunrise or sunset because the light is magical in how it makes everything seem clearer. It is at those times that I often think of an old sailor’s adage that dates back to biblical times:
Red sky at night, sailor’s delight.
Red sky in morning, sailor’s warning
Sailors have used this ancient adage to predict the weather and plan their activities.
When I retired from corporate finance I wanted to establish an organization that would provide easily affordable advice to help people navigate the often uncertain and confusing personal finance landscape. Just as the red sky signals the beginning or end of the day and would advise sailors on how to prepare for the future – RedSky Money was chosen as the perfect name so that wherever you are in your financial journey our organization can help you prepare for what’s ahead.
